My own style has been described as modern but also warm. I like to use a mix of elements
modern and from the past to add personality and uniqueness. I grew up near Chicago and often
traveled back to Europe to visit family. Seeing a mixture of design and architectural styles from
baroque to modernism at an early age had a strong influence on my own personal design aesthetic.
As a designer I try to find the essence of my client’s personalities or brands and turn them
into spaces that suit their personal needs and lifestyle.
I graduated from the UCLA Extension Interior Architecture and Design Program
and was twice nominated for the Advanced James Northcutt Scholarship Award.
I also have a BA from Indiana University where I studied Telecommunications/Film,
Music/Comparative Literature. I started my design career under Lauren Rottet
and Richard Reveire at DMJM Rottet now Rottet Studio where I developed skills in
corporate and hospitality design working for clients such as Marriott, Aerospace and
The Irvine Corporation. In my spare time I enjoy practicing music, yoga, swimming
and spinning and hiking the beautiful California coastal bluffs.
